The featured story this month is the sale of the largest traditional retail space on Monongahela’s West Main Street to the Monongahela Area Chamber of Commerce, a building known to most of us as “McCrory’s” or “Finishing Touch”. The newsletter delves into the history and architecture of the building, the people and local organizations who cooperated to make the purchase happen and future plans for the building. Also discussed are Eat’N Park’s new hours, relocation of the Monongahela Ministerium’s Food Pantry, and the City of Monongahela receiving LSA grant money for a public boat launch.
